A goal-setting program for students at Diamond Hill Elementary, Oct 7 & Nov. 18
Members of the Diamond Hill Elementary School choir kicked off our 1st Monday Kiwanis meeting with a lively song. Kiwanians were then treated to a delicious dinner, prepared by school parents, and this was followed with brief announcements of upcoming events.
School Counselor Mary Bentley was awarded a "Certificate of Recognition" by President Mike Kaitcer for her leadership of the Terrific Kids program at the school. A great school with great staff, parents and students! Fort Worth Kiwanis thanks you for your hospitality!
Kiwanians, Key Clubbers from North Crowley High School, representatives from Diamond Hill Elementary School and North Fort Worth Boys & Girls Club all assembled in Sears' conference room to place coats, sweaters, shirts and hats in Christmas bags for 40 kids. Kudos to Sears-Hulen Mall and to volunteers for making this season a little warmer for some deserving children!
