Build-a-Bear, N. Crowley Key Club

The N. Crowley Key Club participated in the annual Build-a-Bear social at Ridgmar Mall, hosted by Key Club Division 1S. Each key club can select its own charity to receive the bears, and this year N. Crowley selected Ronald McDonald House as its recipient. Great job, N. Crowley Key Club!

Back-to-School Shopping Saturday at Sears

An exceptional way to begin the new 2015-16 school year! Overwhelming show of support from Kiwanians, Key Clubbers and friends at our Back-to-School Shopping Saturday at Sears! Key Clubbers from Paschal, Saginaw, Burleson, North Crowley and newly formed Trimble Tech clubs were present along with members from the Southwest and West Side Kiwanis clubs. Kudos to Diamond Hill Elementary staff for selecting the kids and coordinating transportation for those who attended. Also a shout-out to Sears-Hulen Mall for good prices and great service!

Terrific Kids at Diamond Hill Elementary School

Congratulations go to students at Diamond Hill Elementary for achieving their goals for the 1st six-weeks' period of this new school year. 55 students were awarded Terrific Kids certificates and other treats by Kiwanians and school staff. Proud parents also attended, with cameras in hand, to congratulate their students. Great job, Terrific Kids!

Thank You, Paschal Key Club

THANK YOU Paschal Key Club for passing out water to thirsty runners at the water stop in Trinity Park for the Friends of the River-Party on the Plaza run, walk, stroll, hosted by Streams & Valleys! Even with the summer-like temperatures, runners and strollers beat the heat by participating in the organization's 10th big year. On the first Monday in November, we will have as our speakers the executive and assistant directors from Streams & Valleys to give us a report from the run and to preview a huge event coming next year.
