Kiwanis club members believe in service. They care about children. They're interested in the community around them—because the community matters to them.
They're people like you. Friends. Neighbors. Volunteers who want to make a difference. And they love to see the difference they make when they work together.
1. We will no longer have two Monday meetings a month. We will meet the first Monday of each month.
2. A board meeting will follow the monthly meeting. We will no longer meet on the second Tuesday for a board meeting.
3. We will no longer have a meeting at Rise and Shine on Wednesdays.
We hope this change in number of meetings encourages you to attend as often as you can so you can hear about upcoming service projects.
We will continue to try to line up a guest speaker once a month as well.
Come join us for our monthly meeting! Visit www.buffalowestfw.com for menu and location.
On Monday, July 1, 2019, our Kiwanis Club is signed up to prepare and serve dinner for the families at Ronald McDonald House as part of their Meals from the Heart program.
The kitchen opens at 4pm for us to begin preparing the meal. We will start serving dinner at 6pm and clean and pack up leftovers once everyone has eaten. If you are not able to arrive by 4pm, please make sure you can be there by 5:30 so that we're ready to go by mealtime. If you RSVP "Yes", please indicate what time you will be arriving so we know if we need extra hands for prep.
We are limited to 15 volunteers for this event, so please make sure to RSVP! Please bring a Government-issued ID, we are required to check-in at the front desk before cooking.
We will be cooking the Pioneer Woman's Chicken Pot Pie, Salad, and have some cookies for dessert.
Kiwanis clubs are volunteer-based. Club meetings offer an atmosphere of fun, learning and fellowship. Kiwanis members typically volunteer each month to assist with club service projects.
